Este hotel de quatro estrelas nasceu da reconversão de um palacete de 1776, pertencente aos irmãos Ribeiro da Mota, inquisidores em Goa. Esteve quase a ser demolido, mas é agora o espaço hoteleiro de eleição do centro da vila. As antigas fachadas e pormenores históricos foram aproveitados, aliando-se a componente antiga do edifício com a modernidade das novas áreas. A decoração, a cargo do arquiteto Miguel Dentinho, recria o ambiente histórico de outrora, acrescentando-se apontamentos artísticos e o conforto exigido.
