This circular pedestrian pathway can begin at any point of the stroke, and should be done in an anticlockwise direction. The Chiesa Madre (mother church), Church of Pereiros Arufe Chapel and the pillory of Rebordainhos.
This circular route offers the opportunity to meet this friendly locality which, although they do not integrate the Montesinho Natural Park, is endowed with magnificent landscapes and tourist points of interest.
This mountain is widely varied bith in flora and in fauna. The boar, the deer and the wolf stand out. As for the vegetation, a special note to the pyrenean oak, that covers an area of 6500 hectares. It is the largest pyrenean oak wood in the entire world. A the top of the mountain, you may also visit the sanctuary of Nossa Senhora da Serra (Our Lady of the Mountain), a tribute to Saint Teresinha.
A circular pedestrian trail where one may visit the Fraga do Cucu, that brings to mind the image of a bird standing on a rock, the Cortelhos bridge, the alto das Barreiras, where the population took refug during the French invasions. It also passes by a unique nature built place, where the rocks sculpt curious ffects on the water. It is recommended that one takes this trail in the springtime of in the fall.
