A fair where the Dão wine is exhibited and commercialised. It takes place on the first weekend of September.

The Carnival is one of the region's main attractions. The celebrations include a parade of four parts, two in each of the towns, Nelas and Canas de Senhorim. The Carnival apoeals to the public's participation, as well as of local groups.
