The Portimão seafront has a wide pedestrian avenue, all of it with typical Portuguese pavement. Palm trees along the way lend an exotic atmosphere to the place. Garden benches are a good excuse to sit and rest for a while, or just to enjoy the scenery.

The "Passei Ribeirinho" (Seashore Esplanade), on the marina's southern front, is excellent for a walk. As one walks on the boardwalk of the south basin, one notices and wide variety of local sea species.

This square that makes the connection to the shoreline has a lake and a sculpture of Manuel Teixeira Gomes in the centre. The wood garden benches are an invitation to resting and the cafes with terraces are excellent for a drink or a few tidbits in the hot summer days.
This is a walk, with the typical Portuguese pavement, that follows the dazzling cliffs at the Praia da Rocha (Rocha Beach). A belevedere is the trip's most important point, with lovely panoramic views of the beach.
