A large park with a synthetic pavement, with lawns and trees.It has several equipments for radical sports, such as a half pipe, a sports ring, a ramp and skating bars.It has also a children's playground and a picnic area.

Created by the Valongo Town Hall in cooperation with the Faculty of Science of Oporto's University,The Palozoic Park intends to preserve and divulge the fossil areas in Valongo and of its flora and fauna.It is an open space, in the region's hills.

To visit the Fojo das Pombas (the Doves' Fojo), one must follow a pedestrian trail of about 300 metres, from the palozoic Park.
