The Visionarium reveals the world of science in a simple way, especially to the youngest. It has rooms with names such as earth, matter, unieverse and life. The space has also an experimentarium, a room that is used for temporary exhibitions and surrounding gardens.

Created in 1990 and acquired by the Santa Maria da Feira Town Hall in 2000, the Zoo of Louros is the only exclusively bird zoo in Portugal. The education, the preservation of endangered species and research are the park's three main functions. The park, with a pleasant lush vegetation that makes it agreeable even in the hottest days, has parrots, ostriches, swans, owls, flamingos and vultures, among other birds.
