The Vizela river flows to the southwest until quite near the parish of Jugueiros and then heads west. It has its mouth 1 km away from Vila das Aves.

A 15 metres tall waterfall with admirable views in the winter or in the beginning of the spring. From the mount Córdova massif, the region's belvedere, a special note to the Padrão Hill, with very lovely views.
