The first word that springs to mind when one wants to describe the Natural Park of the Estrela Mountain is "diversity". This central massif that comprises the municipalities of Celorico da Beira, Covilhã, Gouveia, Guarda, Manteigas and Seia, is quite diverse in landscape terms. The central high plain, dominated by the Torre (Tower, the highest pont in mainland Portugal, at an altitude of 1991 metres) and the Zêzere glacier are completely different from other parts of the mountain.

A space that was visibly carved by the glaciers that left U shaped valleys, blocks, and "covões" (Covão da Ponte, Covão d'Ametade), polished rocks and several lagoons. Not to be missed.
This bed is located in the Agricultural Oupost of Fonte Santa. It has different kinds of trouts, some of which are also present in the Zêzere river, which attracts recreational fishers.
Geological formation located at about 1475 meters of altitude, integrating the Natural Park of Serra da Estrela. This place is also known for being the first mountain tourism resort, which paved the way for the various resorts with chalets that you can see today in Serra da Estrela.
