With the original name of Royal College of the Overseas Missions, was built by Dom João VI in 1794. Emphasis on the tiles, depicting scenes of colonial evangelism, as well as for its imposing library with approximately 7,300 works. In the Church of the seminary, deserves special attention the high altar of style hispano-Arabic and the magnificent 18TH century bellows organ, and several paintings of the painter Bento Coelho da Silveira. The seminar also explores the agricultural strand through a large production of wine, marketed under the brand name "lands of d. Nuno".

It is placed above Zêzere River and it was built during Felipe’s period between 1607 and 1610. It replaced a former Roman bridge which, meanwhile was flooded by Bouçã lagoon. It has three arches with 62 metres high. The road that crosses this bridge linked Beira Baixa and Beira Litoral until the construction of Cabril´s dam.

This church has simple lines and it is composed by three naves, main chapel, two lateral chapels, two sacristies and a bell ringer tower. It underwent several reconstruction works during the centuries. It possesses 3 altars in golden carving and the main chapel is covered with glazed tiles. On the outside this church was already highly altered.

Administrative-type architecture, designed by Cassiano Branco. Here have run the Town Hall during the 19th century. In 1917 the building was destroyed by a fire. The same architect designed the construction of a new building which began to be made in 1926.
