Gruta da Nascente do Almonda

Natural cave that stretches for several kilometers, on land belonging to the villages of Zibreira and Pedrógão. It consists of a wide range of underground galleries which develop in maze the first hundred metres, stretching below according to two axes. In it we can find two entries: the first along Almonda River to the spring and the second near the village Couple João Dias.

Chapel probably built in the early 17th century, the present features of mannerist architecture and revivalist. In the 18th century were placed the altarpieces and the 20th century was built the chapel on the South side. In the interior, highlighted by a 16th century stone image of the Patron Saint, located in the sacristy.
