Capela do Carvalhal / Igreja do Santíssimo Sacramento

Church founded by the Queen Dona Leonor in early 16TH century. Remodelled in the 18th century, also date from this time, the Bell Tower. The interior, with three naves, is coated the tiles from the 17th century. Note-If the original altarpiece-mor, currently in the sacristy, formed by five panels with paintings by Antonio Costa of 1600 and the imaginary.

Italian classical theatre in Horseshoe, very rare in Portugal. Inside, the structure of wooden cabins with Golden stucco decorative applications. The eclectic decorative elements are visible, too, in the Hall: the walls decorated by frames with shell motifs and festoons (neoclassical) with symbols depicting the theater, in stucco. There are also suggestions of neo-Baroque style and new artwork (the Iron Guard window).

This building was constructed on the 17th century. It possesses noble façades where the doorway with a Coat of Arms and the bay windows stand out. Currently it is the Regional Museum.

The facade of this temple rips on a small galilé alpendrada. The interior is coated by 16th century tiles. It features a 16th century altarpiece and a stone image of the Patron Saint.

The accurate date for this tower construction is unknown, but according to a document it already existed on the first half of the thirteenth century. Supposedly it was donated by D. Sancho the second to a noble.
