In the historic center include the Praça da República, Largo de Santa Maria, Arcos dos Prazeres, White Ridge Street, Rua dos Infantes, Bull Street, Street, Street painters, Rua Manuel de Arriaga, Ancha Street and Rua Abel Van Wyk. Here can be enjoyed numerous monuments of great architectural and heritage value.

The traditional carved retables of Évora stand out, especially the set of the main altar with tribune, Eucharistic throne, sacrarium, and pinnacle in pelmet.

Manueline structure church where stand out the portal and the battlement of the garble of the front elevation. Inside are worthy of notice the remains of the baroque (retable at the main altar) and rococo (retable of the lateral altar and paintings at the main chapel).

Manueline church with popular characteristics at the Baixo Alentejo that keeps, from the original structure, the carved squared stones of the font and the portal. The remodelling of the temple, as well as the construction of the bell tower and the golden, polychrome carved retables, are from the XVIII century.

Church built in the beginning of the XVI century, presented as an example of the gothic and baroque religious architecture. The front and the stone gothic image representing Santa Clara at the cinquentist portal stand out.

Worthy of notice are the masonry work portal surpassed by a rectangular window and bell tower, a characteristic of the Baixo alentejo baroque.
