Baroque church of regular longitudinal plant, with a chapel with three bays, a barrel vault and a homogenous in gable roof. In the interior, highlighted by the way of the cross-century sculptural and for a Renaissance altar.

Baroque church of longitudinal plant, consisting of a nave, a chancel, a belfry, a sacristy and an attachment. In the interior, especially the font and holy water to the sink.

Former church, that keeps its spatial structure from the manueline period. The front is an exemplar of revivalist civil architecture. Nowadays it is the Café Santa Cruz, used for cultural events.

Romanic church with a manueline chapel, with a typology common to the final gothic, a romanic portal from 1179 and, still worthy of note, the S. Marcos and chapel retables.

Located at the downtown historic centre, the São Bartolomeu Church has, inside, golden woodcarving retables, a painting describing the martyrdom of S. Lourenço, among other valuable works. The main front is sided by two bell towers, giving the building the look of a small See.

Single nave church with a principal front with the same classical syle as the cloister. Inside are worthy of notice the mannerist and baroque retables, the glazed tiles and the paintings. At the sacristy is the “Deposição do Túmulo”.

The temple belonged to a former Franciscan convent. The access is done through a six flight staircase, sided by six chapels, presenting sculptures descriding the life of Christ. From the churchyard you may view the city and close villages, the Mondego River, serras and valleys.

Church with a single nave and lateral chapels. At the simple front the classic portal stands out and, inside, the mannerist wood retable of the main chapel and the baroque lateral retable are worthy of note.

Neoclassical Church probably built in the 17th century. Consists of a longitudinal plan with a nave, a chancel and a vestry and a Bell Tower adossadas. Inside, the baptistery with coverage in barrel vault, for the font and the triumphal arch.
