Fountain built with white and pink marble, presenting a tank and water spouting from three masks in a salient body, on top of which are set three armillary spheres.

Has cylindrical, smooth stem, based on round frame base and is topped by capitel of frame on which rests an urn and the armillary sphere.

The construction of this fort began in 1643 by order of King D. João IV and was concluded during the reign of King D. Pedro II. The objective of this fort was to reinforce the gun power of S. Filipe fortress. It is located near the Albarquel beach, in the area of the Serra da Arrábida Natural Park.

Fort built in 1676, after the end of the Restoration War that aimed to reinforce with its guns the defence of the coast near Setúbal. It was deactivated in 1853.

This is a sixteen hundreds building that although it is in a ruined stage, symbolizes the aristocrat environment in this region. It stands out the main façade monumentality, the colonnade above the garden and the 17th century glazed tiles.
