The garden and balustrades are filled with fauns and nymphs with a baroque aesthetics. Next to a big lake surrounded by dolphins are represented, in glazed tiles panels, the Twelve of England.

The garden goes back to 1881, being that in 1930 a monument paying homage to Alfredo Keil, composer and the author of the National Hymn, was raised. It has small lake and about 12 species of trees, with a coralina and a sumauma with 14 metres high standing out.

The Teófilo Braga garden, paying homage to the poet, writer and teacher with the same name, is also known by Parada Garden for being the former yard of the quarter parade. The statue paying homage to the feminine popular rebellion of Maria da Fonte, placed in the garden in 1920, is the origin of its other name, besides Campo de Ourique for it is the only one in this area. At the beginning of the decade the garden was recovered, equipped with new fittings and keeping some patrimonial elements. It is a tree area with two lakes and a playground.

The woods belong to the Eastern Park of Lisbon. About 10 ha, with small narrow streets and a picnic area. It has mostly stone pines but it also has Buçaco cedar trees and cypresses.
