A neighbourhood garden with an old kiosk, located in a small square of the eastern part of Lisbon, near th river, by the wraehouses of the firm Abel Pereira da Fonseca, from 1910, that have been restored and adapted to become a cultural space.

The garden surrounds the Bullfighting Arena and was, until the 1930s, a space where the "aficionados" met. It is currently divided in fou spaces with trees and a playground, named Gardem Marquis of Marialva.

In 1988, the garden was rebuilt and the vegetation was recovered. During the repair, recovering and construction of works, the elements of baroque that characterize the place were kept.

This park is part of a revitalization plan for the Parque Florestal de Monsanto. This last one offers various equipments grouped in nucleus called urban parks. The urban park of Alto da Serafina, opened in 1992, works as central park with varied entertainment equipment. You may walk along the Mata de São Domingos de Benfica and Campolide, going through the Alto da Serafina and the the Águas Livres aqueduct, in a tree area.

The Children’s Park Alvito with about 12 ha is one of the most well equipped playgrounds of Lisbon, offering didactic spaces for children. It has pools and the Centro Cultural Infantil Adolfo Simões Muller with ceramics, painting and drawing ateliers and also a library. It also offers sports equipment such as a skating-rink, ping-pong tables, and a skate ramp, volley net and mini running track. It has also a lake and an esplanade.
