Opened in 1989, located in the conventual wing of the former Benedictine monastery of Santo Tirso, it is an archaeological museum, where you can find the collections of Abbot Joaquim de Pedrosa (early 20th century), Carlos Faya Santarém (1950s) and of the Municipal Archeology Office. It also preserves a Roman milestone to Magnentius that marked mile XXI of Itinerary XVI between Braga and Lisbon.
A space devoted to reading, composed of a hall (where small exhibitions take place), an adults section (where papers and magazines may be read), an infantile and juvenile section, the Telltale Room (with a small stage), an expression atelier, a multimedia room and an auditorium.
Inugurated in 2002 and located by the Mother Church oif Vila de Aves. Iut features neomanuelin altars, gold ornamented frontons and several religious images. It has about 70 objects that range from the 18th century to our days.
19th century Bandstand with podium industrial standard tiles coated. The stage is designed for overseas supported by granite columns, topped with corrugated iron decorated guards. The coverage is in corrugated Zinc plate with Pinnacle at the apex.
