Located in Cidadela, this museum aims to promote the traditions associated with masks from the Northeast of Trás-os-Montes and the Spanish region of Zamora. Visitors can appreciate masks, costumes and other objects used in the popular “Winter Parties” in Trás-os-Montes and in the “Winter Masks” in Zamora. These traditional festivities are cultural manifestations, passed on from generation to generation, and recognized as traditions of this cross-border area.

Installed in the building of the former Bishop's Palace of Bragança, this museum includes collections of Sacred Art, Epigraphy, Archaeology, Jewellery, Ethnography, Furniture and Painting, in which paintings by José Malhoa, Abel Salazar and 70 drawings by Almada Negreiros stand out. It was created in 1915, initially as the Regional Museum of Works of Art, Archaeological Pieces and Numismatics, adopting its current name in 1935 as a tribute to the researcher, scholar and former director of the Museum.

Set in the Castle Keep, it presents an important collection of great historical value that includes pieces of light weapons, from the 12th century to the First World War. Most of the original pieces were donated by inhabitants, who participated in the African Campaigns and in World War I. From the terrace of the Torre de Menagem it is possible to contemplate a beautiful panoramic view over several region mountains.

Inserted in the House that once belonged to Visconde de Ervedosa, son of Lieutenant-General Sepúlveda, this space works also as the seat of the Municipality and as a cultural center. He currently works as an auditorium.

Opened in June 2008, the project designed by the architect Souto Moura, originates in the protocol concluded in February 1999 between the municipalities of Bragança and Zamora. Opened in 2007, was the 14th Center to integrate the Live Science Network, which shows us the world of energy and the environment. It consists of two buildings: the monitoring and Environmental Interpretation Centre and the Home of silk. The first consists of interactive modules on the environment, energy, recycling. Silk's House is part of a former mill, probably used in the dyeing process of silk, in the 18th and 19th centuries.

This museum brings together collections of ethnographic nature, collected by his patron Alfonso and Belarmino resulting from donations from individuals, representing the culture transmontana.

Foundation established by testament by doctor Artur Águedo de Oliveira, politician born in Torre de Moncorvo Trás-os-Montes. Its goal is to promote the cultural enrichment and dissemination of books and literary intelligence.
