The Geological Trail, the public garden of Beja, is a project of Geoscience outreach to the general public and schools, including fragments of the geologic history of southern Portugal, in the last 1000 million years, since the Neoproterozoic to the present day. Over 200 m and using a scale where every meter traveled equates to 5 million years ago, the main rock formations of the Alentejo.

Installed in the "Deep Room" of the Seminary of Beja, this museum space is divided into two nuclei: one of Archaeology (representative of historical excursus that part of the Neolithic age, passing through periods of the Reconquista and the counter-reformation and ends these days) and another of sacred art, which are part a scapular of the French Masonic Rite, photographs of the last nuns in the convents of Bejaby the end of the 19th century, gold coins and invoking Allah.
