It has a pemanent exhibition: " an identity's pathway" where places and some of the history of the Barreiro parish are pictured. One can view, among others, an 18th century tile panel with the image of Our Lady of Rosary as well as old traditional boats. There is also a temporary exhibition where archeologists work.

A building of 1907, where Alfredo da Silva lived when he came to Barreiro. Rather large luxury house with large pieces of furniture in wood. The space is perfectly preserved and one should note the many personal objects, such as boots, pyjamas, letters, accountant books, etc. There is also an auditorium (50 people) with a plan of the old CUF, that is used to tell the history of the park.

A large library composed of a study room, a computer room and books rooms. It has an auditorium that may be rented. It is open on saturdays between 9.30 am and 12.30 am and 2 pm and 5.45 pm.

Ancient Diesel Central, currently under construction. In the future, it will be a museum of the entrepreneurial park Quimiparque.

Former Bandstand set in a garden. Is currently in a poor state of conservation.

Inaugurated on January 16, 2004. A space specifically devoted to the youngsters (Jovens), the J Space welcomes activities for and by them. It has an information room, free internet, a computer room, a music room,a video room, an area for studying and exhibitions, etc.
