After a few years of closure for repairs, this space Museum reopened to the public in June 2009. It features permanent and temporary exhibitions, including collections of 15th and 16th century painting, sculptures of the middle ages and the Renaissance. In addition to these collections presents, also, ceramics, jewellery and tiles of various periods, for a total of about 20 thousand pieces. One of the novelties of the new Museum's Flemish altarpiece, recalling scenes from the life of the Virgin, arranged chronologically.

Founded in 1805, the library is one of the most qualified and rich national Libraries, owning printed and manuscripts nucleuses from the XIII to the XX centuries. Besides that it preserves archaeological and artistic values.

Évora has, since December 2011, an extension of the clock Museum of Serpa, the Palace Barrocal, next to Praça do Giraldo. There are about 400 mechanical watches that can be seen in that noble space, such as a workshop of Restoration. Fruit of a passion of António Tavares d'Almeida, the collection has more than 2,200 timepieces from 1630 until 2012, and an endless number of stories to see and hear.

A theatre inaugurated in 1892, with a remarkable theatrical Italian architecture. Besides functioning as a theatre, it also has a theatre school.

In this space, a special not to the "Adoração dos Magos" (the Three Wise Men) painted by Francisco Campos, an image of Saint Ana, the Virgin and Jesus as a Child, a sculpture named "Virgin with Jesus as a Child", of the 14th century.
