This museum, situated in the heart of the historic centre and installed in the building that for many years served as a jail, was opened in 2001 and it will be able to visit an exhibition directed to the local ethnography and still some temporary exhibitions. There is also an auditorium.

Modern library consists of a collection of 25 thousand books, 8,000 of whom donated by Augusto Cesar de Carvalho, a former Mayor. In addition to the reading rooms, it also has a multipurpose room that hosts exhibitions and an audiovisual room.

Large, modern space with conditions to accommodate various cultural, social and recreational initiatives. It has an amphitheatre, a gallery, a multiúsos lounge, a bar and a few support rooms.
