A wide stretch of sand, with good surfing waves and clean water. There are several typical restaurants with many fish and shellfish dishes.

A very lovely beach at the south entrance of Peniche, surrounded by dunes. The space is attended by surfers and by those who enjoy recreational fishing. It has a beach club with noght animation and an excellent terrace.

A small port, located by the fishing docks and the pier from where the boats to the Berlengas islands depart. It has paid parking, a few shops and fine restaurants with typical dishes.

A bay attended by tourists, families and youngsters. The Baleal is a treasure for those who enjoy diving and radical sports. It has a small island, people by fishermen and rather touristy. There are many quality estaurants that serve typical dishes. The nightly animation is guaranteed.

A beach with a small brook. Fit for surfing, namely when the "nortada" (northwinds) blow strong. It has several restaurants and bars that serve typical dishes. It has lively nights and plenty of shops.

A small rocky beach, attended mostly by fishermen and by families who enjoy the calm sea. It is also fit for diving, even though there is no vigilance.

The Frades Beach may be viewed from the top of the rocky shoreline. The stretch of sand rewards the visitors after a strenuous descent.

A beach on the western extremity o the Baleal bay. It is located very near Peninche and it is hence quite attended.

A sand shell, surrounded by cliffs, a bit rocky. Attended by tourists. It has a much crowded beach bar.
