The building of the Municipal Library of Porto was the former convent of Santo António dos Capuchos. Is a building from the late 18th century, has many inner courtyards. Was adapted to the library for Dom Pedro IV. The interior is decorated by ceramic tiles of several convents of invicta and surroundings.

Ancient medieval fortification located at an altitude of 1033 meters. Currently, almost in ruins, it retains an enclosure delimited by walls and two doors. The Porta do Sapo (Frog Door) stands out. At the site of the primitive rock fortification, there are traces of prehistoric and Iron Age occupations.

Church built in 1747 and remodeled in 1725, has an architecture similar to that of a Spanish chapel. Emphasis on the Altar of Nossa Senhora das Dores, too before 1747 and Baroque influence. It's rumoured that is derived from the dismantling of the igreja de Nossa Senhora do Desterro, on Noudar.

The lighthouse of ponta do Arnel was inaugurated in 1876. Since its inauguration has undergone several changes and improvements that enabled that is still in operation. Their 15-metre Tower leaves a light beam with a range of 25 miles. Overlooking the lighthouse lies the picturesque village of Northeast.
