Situated in Agricultural vocational school Dinis, on Horse, the Ecopista is destined to hiking and cycling and allows the user to follow paths that in effect, almost magical, make the person feel part and parcel of the landscape he traverses. The Bertiandos and São Pedro d'Arcos Lagoons develop around two lagoons and the banks of the Estorãos River, where the autochthonous spontaneous hydrophilic vegetation predominates. In this space it is possible to find species of rich and fertile vegetation, essential for the functioning of the river ecosystem, which are spread in wet and non-humid areas, pastures and other natural landscapes. About 80 plant species are considered rare or on the verge of extinction. This geologic formation of volcanic origin has approximately 1650 meters in length and an average height of two to three meters, and there are places where more than five meters. The width is very variable, sometimes reaching 10 metres. Be sure to repair, on the ceiling, in the beautiful stalactites of lávica origin, with conical shapes and smooth surfaces.

Também conhecida como Cova Dominique, localiza-se numa falésia entre o Cabo Carvoeiro e o Forte de Peniche, e é uma cavidade natural localizada a cerca de 15 metros acima do nível do mar e que foi ocupada durante o período Paleolítico Médio e o final do Calcolítico, sendo a mais importante estação pré-histórica do concelho. Funcionou como abrigo e necrópole, fornecendo um vasto espólio arqueológico, que pode ser conhecido em vários museus, entre os quais o Municipal de Peniche.

On the outskirts of Peniche there is a volcanic breach known as islet of Papoa. This rocky formation is a rather sought after fishing spot with lovely sea views.

Islands located to the northeast of Peniche and the Cape Carvoeiro, a granite formation that is about 280 millions of years old. The largest is the Berlenga Island, but there are several smaller islands around it (Cerro da Velha, Estela and Meda do Norte, among others). It is one of the main nestling and refuge spots for sea birds and also houses a series of other species. Among the animals, a special note to the presence of lizards, namely the ocellated lizard, and among the plants, many herbal species.

This characteristic lava tube is one of the main attractions of Porto Judeu, due to its curious characteristics and location. This cave was formed due to the eruption of the Algar do Carvão Volcano. Its name comes from some sedimentary formations on the walls and ceiling of the cave, in needle shape.
