Opened in 1983, this museum represents the island's identity. The ethnography and culture of Graciosa occupy a prominent place and the space reconstitutes a rural house, a wine cellar and a mill, also displaying 15th century cannons, uniforms and whaling boats, among others.

Museu da Indústria Baleeira

Installed in the former whale factory of Armações Baleeiras Reunidas, this museum presents a permanent exhibition explaining the work carried out in the factory, namely the process of transforming the whale and the instruments and machinery used. In the blacksmith's workshop, you can see pieces such as harpoons and other materials used in whaling, and also watch them being worked on by artisans.
