On the southern part there is a brook that separates the sand from the road and from the cliff. At times, a lagoon is formed between th road and the beach, a place where the children may play safely. It is excellent for surfing. Nearby, there are vestiges of an 18th century fortress, mesozoic formations and valuable fossile reefs.
