This track is part of the Walking Tour on the Valley, by Muleteer ways with 28 Km. This ways allow you to get to know beautiful rural spots, with a unique microclimate.

A larg pedestrian walk, approximately 3.5 km long, lasting about three hours. It starts at the Monte Velho beach, to the south, along the Barbaroxa wells, until Areias Brancas. One can enjoy wonderful landscapes and watch the dynamics of the mobile dunes.

A natural reservation sinc the beginning of the century, the Santo André and Sancha Lagoons are a 1.5 km long maritime stretch of land, located in the north of the Alentejo region, to the north of Sines. In this place, one can find several different bird species. The Lagoon also houses a colony of purple herons.

If one did not know the Aire and Candeeiros Hills, one could believe that their elevations at 577 and 613 metres, respectively, meant nothing extraordinary in terms of landscape. 2.5 km path integrated in the Natural Park of Serras de Aire e Candeeiros. The point of departure and arrival is the reception centre of Valley of winds. Its main points of interest-traditional architecture, fauna and flora and panoramic views make this tour a pleasant surprise.

The cave of Alcobertas is 210 meters long and occasionally reaches 9 feet tall. Its archaeological value has already been demonstrated, thanks to the discovery of human bones of the Upper Paleolithic, species that lived in small nomadic communities, in temporary camps, outdoor or in caves.

Navies of Salt are located in the Natural Park of Serra D'aire and Candeeiros and 30 km from the sea. The earliest reference to this natural estate dates from the 12th century and it is believed that the use of rock salt comes from prehistory. Given the ease with which the rainwater penetrates the limestone, the waterways have become underground. A mountain located on the southern limits of Central Alentejo, a mountainous massif with evergreen trees, namely cork oaks and holm oaks. It has a rich fauna, namely on the birds and predatory mammals level. It reaches its peak at an altitude of 420 metres.

Pedestrian path with a length of about seven kilometres, passing through the inside of the Natural Reserve of Serra da Malcata. Will pass along the banks of the Bayou and the Baroque Meimoa-Carvalhal, where ancient trees are found and a diverse fauna. This route starts and ends at the bridge of the trade winds.
