Located next to the marina of Angra do Heroísmo, this beach is the only existing sand beach in town and therefore quite crowded. Has support structures and is ideal for lovers of windsurfing.

Located in Odeleite, Castro Marim, this dam was built in Ribeira de Odeleite, which is born in Serra do Caldeirão. As a curiosity, aerial photography shows the shape of a blue dragon.
Earth-type dam, located in Ribeira do Arco, belonging to the Douro Hydrographic Basin. It is located in a mountainous area dotted with wild shrubby flora. Fishing is permitted, with restrictions.
A 2 km long lagoon, located near the Pedrogão Beach. There is a forest with wide pine woods. The lagoon and the Mata Nacional do Urso (Bear National Woods) are classed.
Very busy beach with blue flag, considered one of the main bathing areas of the city. No Beach, but rather a concrete plate. Nearby you will find the Hotel do Caracol.
A rather rocky beach, surrounded by very beautiful cliffs, mostly attended by people who do underwater fishing. There is a small "tasca" that serves typical dishes at accessible prices.
