The temple presents a typology identical to hermitages built in Baixo Alentejo throughout the 16th century.

This temple has a Gothic and Mannerist outline, which construction remounts to the 14th century. It stands out the sixteen hundreds glazed tiles on the main chapel destined to be the pantheon for the Melos family. The inside has three naves separated by three lancet arches above the columns.

The museum features a collection of archaeologucal objects mostly from the parish, from the Paleolithic to the Moorish occupation.

Located on the Guadiana river basin. The Enxoé reservoir, on the Enxoé brook, occupies about 785.22 ha and was classed as a protected reservoir of public waters.

A space with views of the Guadiana river and the rapids that are form by the tightening of the river's banks (from 25 to 3 metres wide). All around it, the lovely Alentejo landcapes dominate an area where the human presencee is still quite rare.
