It also has a documentation centre, a reserved sector, a multifaceted room and an exhibitions’ area. Here you may consult about 50 thousand documents, among manuscripts, monographs, periodicals, multimedia material and the internet. The library promotes the domiciliary lending of books and animation, such as documental and bibliographic exhibitions, projections and debates, among others.

The Cultural and Recreative Association “Os fontineiros da Maia” functions here. This space has a gaming room, a leisure room with TV, a room for the children's free times and a backup bar. It promotes several activities, such as folklore, dances and music teaching.

This is a humble house, where the painter Albino José Moreira was born and died. This is the home of the painter’s daughter and it’s not open for the general public. Only school may visit for free, with an appointment.
