The Cabeço Gordo is the highest point on the island of Faial, with an elevation of 1043 feet. Natural viewpoint par excellence, in day of clear skies can enjoy the crater of the Caldeira, the Flemings and the bays of the city of Horta.

From the top of its 267 meters above sea level you can see the entire city of Horta, including marina and the zone of Porto Pim, the Flemish Valley and the island of Pico.
