This is not really a museum, it is the cloister and the noble area of the regiment where some war objects and pictures that belong to the quarters’ collection are exhibited.

A space composed of 20 cinema rooms, at the Arrábida Shopping, that offer the best image and sound in films projection.

A rather small place that functions in the building by the parish board, with just a few books, three daily newspapers and weekly magazines.

A part of the São Pedro (Saint Peter) festivities (July 29th), the popular festival with the name of that saint is the main attraction of the week after São João (Saint John). At Afurada, a fishermen’s quarter, there is a festival that is similar to São João’s festival but, of course, much smaller. In the narrow streets of the quarter, dwellers and lookers-on join around caravans with food, drinks and children’s entertainments.

On Saturday mornings, the weekly market of Afurada fills anarquicamente the blocks of this fishing neighborhood. The products range from traditional agricultural\/food clothing and footwear.
