This building, with a simple façade, is an example of the commercial civil architecture, Art Nouveau style. The same style may be seen inside, characterized by the application of a set of diversified materials, from the glass or wood to the glazed tiles or even iron.

This is a garage from the beginning of the XX century: building with two floors with iron application on the inside, as well as glass and glazed tile, in typical Art Nouveau décor. The stained-glass window on the second floor are worthy of notice.

The building consists of two pavilions, situated in the Eastern Pavilion the Gulbenkian Museum. The design of this architectural set was designed by the architects Pedro Alberto José Cid and Person.
