A green area with lovely trails, located on the hillside that connects Sintra and the Castelo dos Mouros (Moors' Castle).

Sintra is the perfect scenery for a charrete (cart) ride! This means of transportation that gets us back to the daus of kings and princesses, is the most romantiv and original way of getting acquainted with the historic area. One may also choose and longer ride to the town's outskirts.

One of the loveliest parts of the Portuguese seashore. The pedestrian trail includes two steep descents and a few climbs. But the effort pays when, at the end of the traject, one descends the stairway of Praia Grande, with its magnificent views, and finds the dinosaur footsteps.

As one goes along the Tanque Novo Street, in the East direction, one starts a full pedestrian walk along the Sintra Hill. There, one views wide landscapes, enjoy the nature and remembers the heritage. The walk goes by the Capuchos Convent, by the geodisc vortex of the Monk and "Tholos", by the Carmo Farm, by the Hermitage of Saint Saturnino, by the Penedo village and by the Peninha views.
