The heart of Viana is, quit probably, the most well known work in this museum devoted to the History of Traditional Jewelry in Portugal.

Former hospital ship, built in the Shipyards of Viana do Castelo in 1955. It currently belongs to the Gil Eanes Foundation, and has been open to the public since 1998. Here you can visit the bridge, the kitchen, the engine room, the medical office, the radiology office, the operating room, several cabins and some temporary exhibition rooms.

Museum dedicated to the preservation of ethnographic traditions, around 900 pieces, with emphasis on the Minho costume. Here you can see a permanent exhibition about Wool and Linen in Alto Minho Costume. It also works as a space for temporary exhibitions, with varied themes.

Este núcleo foi criado como forma de enquadrar a recuperação de um moinho de vento de velas trapezoidais de madeira, tipologia comum no litoral Norte, de que apenas resta este em funcionamento. Para além deste moinho pode ser também visitado um outro de velas de pano onde funciona o centro de interpretação com informações sobre os moinhos e a região e sobre os percursos ambientais e patrimoniais que percorrem os mais significativos espaços naturais da freguesia.
